  • Laboratory: Viva Health Laboratories.
  • Test kit delivery: The test kit is dispatched via Viva Health Laboratories. Royal Mail 24 hour tracked delivery is provided free of charge.
  • Sample required: Blood sample via a venous blood draw.
  • Sample analysis: Zinc plasma levels.
  • Test preparations and instructions: The blood sample needs to be centrifuged. Viva Health Laboratories works with two clinics that can provide blood centrifuging. The first clinic is the QX Medical Clinic (34 Great Titchfield Street, London, W1W 8BQ). The minimum age requirement for phlebotomy services at the QX Medical Clinic is 14. The phlebotomy service fee at the QX Medical Clinic is £60. The £60 fee covers as many blood draws and blood centrifuging as required (if you want to undergo other tests). The second clinic is the Thyme Tring Clinic (Champneys Tring Health & Wellbeing Centre, Chesham Road, Tring, HP23 6HY). The minimum age requirement for phlebotomy services at the Thyme Tring Clinic is 12. The phlebotomy service fee at the Thyme Tring Clinic is £60. The £60 fee covers as many blood draws and blood centrifuging as required (if you want to undergo other tests). All of the other clinics and pharmacies Viva Health Laboratories works with cannot provide blood centrifuging. To arrange a phlebotomy service appointment with either of the two clinics, please contact Viva Health Laboratories: call 03300883030 or email [email protected]. Please arrange a phlebotomy service appointment after your test kit has been dispatched. You take the test kit with you to either of the clinics. The other option is to have the blood draw done via a phlebotomy service that Viva Health Laboratories does not work with. The phlebotomy service provider will need to be able to centrifuge the blood sample. You take the test kit with you to the phlebotomy service provider.
  • Returning the sample: The sample is sent to Viva Health Laboratories (UK). A Royal Mail 24 hour tracked return service is provided free of charge.
  • Result turnaround time: 6 working days from the day the sample reaches the lab.
  • Practitioner support and treatment advice: Support via email, WhatsApp or phone is included if required and treatment advice is included if required.
